12-17-15, 12-18-15 & 12-20-15 Basketball
EHS took 1st place at the Central Valley Tournament adding another 3 wins to their record. EHS is now 6-0. Caroline had 15 points for the tournament and also took home an All Tourney award.
12-10-15, 12-11-15 & 12-12-15 Basketball
EHS JV won the Harlan Carter 2015 Tournament with a 3-0 record. Caroline had 11 points for the weekend.
11-26-15 Thanksgiving Turkey Trot
Caroline ran with a group from MixedFitnesArtist.com in the 30th Annual Turkey Trot. It was a 6 mile run along the river trail.
11-11-15 Basketball
Caroline tried out for and made EHS Girls Basketball for 2015-2016 season. She was moved up to the JV team. Games start early December.
11-8-15 Soccer
Fusion played the Fruitridge United 98 at Redding Soccer Park in the final league game of season and won 4-1. Fusion has a 17-5-4 record and ends league tied for 2nd with 7-2-1 record in the U19 Silver. This ends the season for the year and they will meet again and play at their U17 Silver level in the Presidents Cup in the spring.
11-7-15 Soccer
Fusion traveled to Chico to play the Chico Samba and suffered a 3-1loss. This puts Fusion atn16-6-4 for season and 6-2-1 for league.
10-31-15 Soccer
Fusion traveled to Oakdale to play them in a league game and had a 6-1 victory. Caroline had 1 goal and 2 assists and now totals 15 goals for season. Fusion is now 16-5-4 overall and 6-1-1 in league.
10-24-15 & 10-25-15 Soccer
Fusion took first place at the Smash Cup U19 Womens level. They went 3 wins and 1 tie for weekend. The finals in the tournament also happened to be a league game against the older Redding Adrenaline team that was a 2-2 tie but since Fusion had no points scored against them up to the finals they won the tournament on points. Caroline had 4 goals over the weekend. Fusion is now 15-5-4 overall and 5-1-1 in league play.
10-17-15 Soccer
In a extremely fast paced game the rematch from last week against the Sacaramento Heat had a different outcome. The Fusion girls played at their all time highest level during this 20th game together. 0-0 at half and late into the second half Caroline sent one goal in from a teammates cross and game ended with Fusion winning 1-0. Fusion is now 12-5-3 for season, 5-1 in league, and Caroline has 10 goals for season.
10-9-15 Soccer
The two undefeated teams in league, Sacramento Heat and Missfits Fusion met down in Sacramento today. It was a back and forth game with 0-0 at half, however the Sacramento Heat turned things up in the end scoring 2 goals and winning the game. Fusion is now 4-1 in league play and 11-5-3 overall for season. Next week the two teams will play again on Fusions home field and we will see if the travel and turf play in to this upcoming outcome.
10-3-15 Soccer
Fusion played another league game today traveling to Sacramento to play Fruitridge United. The game was back and forth 2-2 at half time. Second half Caroline scored a goal and game ended with a 3-2 win for Fusion. Fusion is now 4-0 in their league play and 11-4-3 for season.
9-26-15 & 9-27-15 Soccer
Fusion played in Modesto California at the 2015 Ajax United Girls End of Summer Tournament. The team ended up with 2nd place after a hard fought 5-4 loss in the finals to the host team that plays at a Premiere Elite level. Fusion now holds a 10-4-3 record for season.
9-20-15 Soccer
Fusion won another league game against Chico Samba going 3-0 in league and 8-2-3 for the season. Caroline had 2 goals during the game.
9-19-15 Soccer
Fusion played a league game against Oakdale Insanity and won. Caroline had 1 goal. Fusion is now 2-0 in league and 7-2-3 for season.
9-12-15 Soccer
Caroline had an assist and her team won their first league game against the Redding Missfits Adrenaline 3-1. Fusion is now 6-2-3 for the season. The will be playing up in league in a U18/19 Silver level this year.
8-22-15 & 8-23-15 Soccer
Fusion is really starting to come together as the newly merged team with every player doing their part and it showed at the 2015 Pacifica United Coast Cup. The girls played 4 fast paced, intense games up an age group in the U18 division and went 4-0 for the weekend taking 1st place. Caroline had 4 goals total for the weekend and one assist. Fusion now holds a 5 win, 2 loss, 3 tie record and all of their 10 games played have been up in Gold level or age level as they have yet to play at their U17 Silver position.
8-17-15 Freshman
Today begins C4's Freshman year at Enterprise High School. She has a full schedule with both advance placement and honors classes.
8-15-15 & 8-16-15 Soccer
Caroline and her team played Gold Level in the Stanford Summer Classic and had a weekend of tough, well matched games going 0-1-2 for the weekend. The team now has a 1-2-3 record in their 6 games played together.
7-25-15 & 7-26-15 Soccer
Caroline and her new team played up in age their first tournament together, the Sustroke Classic in Elk Grove, California in the U19 division and ended up tied for 4th. There was 10 teams this year in their group. Caroline scored one goal and had one assist.
7-3-15 Soccer
Caroline tried out for, and made the Missfits Fusion U17 team. Playing 2 years up, along with 4 new coaches and all new teammates will be both challenging and developmental.
6-4-15 8th Grade Graduation
Caroline Graduates 8th Grade from Parsons Jr High and is also one of three students to receive the "Scholar Athlete" award. She also maintained above a 4.0 for all 3 years at Parsons.
5-23-15, 5-24-15, & 5-25-15 Basketball
Jam On It tournament in Reno Nevada the NorCal Hoopsters went 2-2 with Caroline having 38 points for tournament. This ends 8th grade AAU Basketball season.
5-20-15 Track
Track season ended today and Caroline won her 200 and 400. The Parsons Jr High girls also took another first in the 4x100 relay.
5-14-15 Track
Parsons Jr High hosted the meet and Caroline Forseth took first in the mile, first in the 100, and her team took first in the 4x100 relay. Her time was 14:39 for the 100 meter in video below.
5-9-15 & 5-10-15 Basketball
North Valley Hoopsters took 2nd place in the 8th grade division at the Kyle Singlar tournament in the Medford, Oregon area. The girls played 3 games total with Caroline having 45 of the teams points.
5-5-15 Track
Sequoia Middle School hosted the meet where Caroline and her teammates won the 4x100 relay. Caroline also won the 400.
5-1-15 Track
First track meet of season held at Red Bluff High Schools track. Caroline took first place in 200 with 29.65 and fist place in 400 with 1:06 in the 8th grade girls class.
4-25-15 & 4-26-15 Basketball
NorCal Hoopsters win the Battle of the Northstate tournament after going 4-0 during the 2 days. Caroline had a total of 55 points during this tournament.
4-11-15 & 4-12-15 Soccer
Redding Missfits Renegades soccer season ends at Presidents Cup in Ripon, California. Caroline played mid and forward most of season, ending with with 39 goals, 7 coming from Presidents Cup.
4-11-15 Begin Blog
Late start as far as waiting until the end of her 8th grade year but past sports have included Alta Mesa Middle School for Cross Country, Soccer, Basketball, and Softball. Parsons Jr High has included Volleyball, Soccer, Basketball, and Track. Soccer began at age 5 for recreational league and has played competitive traveling soccer since age 10. Basketball at a competitive AAU level began in 5th grade. Here are some older videos.
